At Rescue PAWS, our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome stray animals in Thailand. Many of the animals we rescue arrive with severe injuries, often requiring complex orthopedic surgeries. To give these animals the best chance at recovery, we’ve recently invested in specialized medical instruments designed for orthopedic procedures.
Why We Need Your Help
Our clinic is small but mighty, and while our team works tirelessly to provide the best care possible, we often face challenges due to a lack of essential medical equipment. Many of the animals we rescue require advanced care that we currently have to outsource to external veterinary clinics. This not only increases costs but also delays the treatment that these animals urgently need.
We recently made a significant investment in new medical equipment, including tools for surgery. While this investment was crucial, it has taken a significant toll on our resources. The equipment, costing 50,000 THB (approx. $1,400 USD), allows us to perform life-saving orthopedic surgeries in-house—procedures that were previously outsourced at a much higher cost and with longer wait times.
With your support, we can ensure that every animal who comes through our doors receives the immediate care they need to heal and thrive. The ability to perform these surgeries directly at our clinic not only saves time and money but also reduces the stress on animals who might otherwise have to be transported for treatment.
