Our Impact

Rescue P.A.W.S.’ mission is to improve animal quality of life in Thailand by reducing the stray dog population and educating others about animal welfare.

Since opening in 2013, we have had a profound impact on the health, quality of life, and overall numbers of stray dogs in the Hua Hin area – to this date, we have sterilized over 1,500 dogs.
Did you know…

If left unsterilized, one unspayed female dog, her mate, and all of their puppies can become responsible for around 67,000 offspring over the course of six years. Considering the number of dogs Rescue P.A.W.S. has sterilized, we have effectively prevented tens of thousands of offspring.

One male and one female dog will have an average of 8 puppies every 6 months – this means an estimated 16 puppies every year.

1 year = 16
2 years = 128
3 years = 512
4 years = 2,048
5 years = 12,288
6 years = 67,000

Not only have we sterilized an incredible amount of dogs, but we have also given vaccinations, blood treatments, and various other medical care to over 19,000. This is all possible thanks to our volunteers and our dedicated staff.
